An ode to a sail boat

I have sailed all my life. In Greenland we sailed in a small motor boat and later in a real sail boat that my father bought and restored, the beautiful Northern Star. And we sailed in a small inflatable dinghy. In Denmark we have been used to going sailing every summer in the sail boat. Thus, A has sailed all her life too. And we love it!

Alas, all things come to an end and my father has decided to sell his beautiful ship. We have said our goodbyes and it is with nostalgia and a little bit of sadness that I am writing this. The beautiful flux and ever changing-ness of life has given us some wonderful memories while sailing and those memories we will carry with us forever, even if we have said goodbye to the ship.

We have had so many beautiful moments on the sea and I would like to share some of those moments with you, so enjoy!
